MATERIALS

Yarn (Version 1)

MC: Knitting for Olive Merino [100% Merino Wool; 273 yards (250 meters) / 50 grams (1.7 ounces)] in “Marzipan”. (204) 221 (240, 264, 280) yards / (187) 202 (219, 241, 256) meters

For the colorwork bands, I used various bits and bobs of fingering weight sock yarn from my scrap stash in the following amounts:

CC1: (14) 16 (18, 20, 22) yards / (13) 15 (16, 18, 20) meters

CC2: (14) 16 (18, 20, 22) yards / (13) 15 (16, 18, 20) meters

CC3: (7) 8 (9, 10, 11) yards / (6) 7 (8, 9, 10) meters

The above yardage will be needed for each of the three colorwork bands! If you choose to use different colors for your bands as shown in my sample socks, you’ll simply gather 3 different sets of colors, each using the above amounts. If you decide to stick with one set of colors for all three bands, then multiply the above numbers by 3.
